JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Position: Senior Reinsurance Business Producer
Reports to: Head of Reinsurance
Location: Bahrain
About Company & Role Purpose
Focus on high-value and complex reinsurance accounts, responsible for strategic client relationship development, mentoring junior staff, and expanding the organization's presence in MENA and global markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
• Lead origination of complex facultative and treaty placements with significant premium values.
• Build and manage relationships with senior decision-makers at cedents and reinsurers.
• Develop new markets and product opportunities, especially in international markets.
• Mentor and guide junior producers to build their business portfolios.
• Ensure timely and accurate placement, reporting, and documentation for all accounts.
• Achieve annual premium and revenue growth targets for high-value accounts.
• Increase in number and value of large accounts managed.
• Client Relationships: Establish C-suite relationships with key cedents and reinsurers.
• Develop new treaty and facultative reinsurance programs and solutions.
• Number of training/mentoring sessions conducted with junior staff annually.
• Securing reinsurance placements beyond the MENA region.
• Timely reporting, zero compliance or documentation errors.
Requirements:
Qualifications• 10+ years of experience in reinsurance or related fields.
• Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Proficient in market research and business development.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts effectively.
