Job description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our hotel.
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry services
- Allocate work duties to team members and create efficient cleaning schedules
- Conduct routine inspections of all check-out rooms and spot checks of occupied rooms to maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory, stock control, and equipment maintenance
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to brand standards
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Manage special cleaning projects and deep cleaning schedules
- Prepare and maintain accurate housekeeping records and reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
