JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Hotels Resorts Investment Maldives is seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of landmark ultra-luxury resort and hospitality developments in the Maldives.
This role involves end-to-end project leadership from concept through handover, ensuring delivery against design intent, budget, and timeline. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design, procurement, construction, and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include project programming, risk management, financial oversight, stakeholder reporting, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. You’ll represent the company in front of clients, investors, operators, and authorities, while mentoring project teams and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.- Experience: 8 to12 years leading large-scale hospitality, resort, or mixed-use developments. Proven track record in ultra-luxury or high-end projects from concept to completion.
Skills:
- Mastery of project delivery methodologies and tools.
- Strong commercial understanding (budgeting, procurement, contract admin).
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural & MEP drawings.
- Strong stakeholder communication & negotiation skills.
- PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
- Professional, collaborative, solution-oriented, and able to lead under pressure.
