JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Ensure proper closure of month-end activities and accurate data entry intothe system.
- Monitor and post required accruals to close month-end.
- Prepare daily financial reports to assess daily movements and performreconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS and CBBrequirements.
- Prepare regulatory reports for the Central Bank of Bahrain and relevantauthorities.
- Develop and monitor internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferablyin the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of Bahrain’s financial regulations, CBB reportingrequirements, VAT, and IFRS
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial modeling, and MS Officeapplications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with auditors, regulators, andstakeholders
- Integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
