JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking an Electrical Lead to join them on Data Centre Projects in Frankfurt.
You Will Be Responsible For:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring scope alignment, productivity, safety, and delivery to programme milestones.
• Review and manage electrical design documentation, identify technical issues, and coordinate solutions with the design team, consultants, and client engineers.
• Monitor installation progress of key systems such as HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, lighting, fire alarm, and BMS for compliance and readiness.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out in line with relevant codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
• Lead commissioning planning and execution for electrical systems, including FAT/SAT testing, inspections, and handover documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and CSA (civil-structural-architectural) leads to ensure full MEP integration and resolution of coordination issues via BIM and site reviews.
• Drive site safety performance and ensure all RAMS, permits, lock-out/tag-out, and electrical safety procedures are strictly followed.
Requirements:
• A trade background or relevant qualification.• A minimum of 5 years leading large scale projects.
• Data Centre experience is not essential but desired.
• A EU Passport is required for this role.
Salary:
EUR
9,500 to 10,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
