JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a talented and creative Florist to join our prestigious hotel team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a keen eye for detail, enhancing our guests' experience through beautiful and innovative flower arrangements that complement our luxurious environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements that suit various hotel settings including lobby, guest rooms, events, and dining areas.
- Collaborate with hotel event planners to provide customized floral decor for weddings, conferences, and special events.
- Maintain the freshness and quality of all floral inventory through proper care and storage techniques.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and flowers to ensure availability while minimizing waste.
- Stay updated on trends in floral design and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the hotel’s aesthetic appeal.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in handling floral materials and tools.
- Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and staff, responding promptly to special requests and feedback.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Florist or Floral Designer, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.- Strong artistic ability and creativity with a solid understanding of color theory and flower care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and engage with guests.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality and presentation.
- Knowledge of floral design tools and equipment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel events and functions.
