Job description

As a Head Therapist you are responsible for the smooth and effective daily operation of the sauna and spa, delivering high standard of spa treatments and services to all guests, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Maintain safety in massage room and privacy for members and guests
  • Provide a courteous and professional service at all times
  • Perform massage sessions in accordance with the massage schedule
  • Work in close coordination with the line manager to ensure the smooth operation
  • Ensure that members and guests use the sauna and massage room in the proper suggested attire
  • Conduct a daily check of all equipment in the massage room and record the repairs that are necessary as required by policy and procedure
  • Ensure that there is always one instructor on duty at the massage room at all times
  • Maintain close contact with guests/members and communicate feedback from them
  • Conduct treatment evaluation/reassessments for members and guests on a regular basis with regards to the standards required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a good spa background and a true passion to serve and make others feel good through excellent customer care. You will be a positive, pleasant and approachable individual with the ability to lead, motivate and improvise in all situations and you should possess the following competencies:

  • You should be a certified Spa Therapist with international experiences within the same role in a hotel or spa environment
  • You should be able to do all types of massage therapies
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential
