JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Join our vibrant hotel team as a Waiter, where you'll deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests in a warm and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort customers to their tables with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and serving areas throughout the shift.
- Handle customer complaints gracefully and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service hours.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service and guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods during shifts.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
