JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Technical background in master planning, urban design of universities and technical understanding of key supporting discipline contributions to land development projects (transport planning, infrastructure, landscaping, architecture, Campus security plans, GSAS, HSE, Academic requirements) and ability to control the consultant’s and sub-consultants’ conformance with the contract documents including drawings, specifications, etc. This includes a working knowledge of local and international specifications that may relate to the work.
Requirements:
• Graduate with Urban and Master Planning experience with PMP/Master Degree or other similar project management accreditations.• Minimum 18 to 20 years demonstrable experience, of which 10 years related experience.
• Successfully completed 1 to 2 projects with similar Services for Urban Planning/Master Planning of Universities complete with Certificates/Supporting documents/Portfolio.
• Must have rendered services pertaining to project management of master plan project to reputed corporate clients.
• Experience on large and complex Master Planning and Urban Design projects in the Middle East as a Project Manager.
• Proficient and experience in using of project management tools and its processes and principles.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in urban planning principles, land use and zoning.
• Competent in full Land Development project life cycle and technical aspect in relation to strategy, master planning, detailed design, construction, handover and operations.
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams for the urban and master planning process.
• Fully conversant with the local General Conditions of Contract and QCS.
• Ability to manage budget and provide appropriate advice on contractual and commercial matters.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Multilingual ability is preferable.
