Role Objective
Responsible for the development and delivery of customized professional, technical, and managerial skill development within the Ashghal structure, including training modules. Serves as a knowledgeable resource in the execution of training activities and provides an option for delivering training modules.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities
• Leads the development of methods to assess training needs, including surveys, questionnaires, interviews and feedback from performance reviews.
• Accurately identifies the purpose for requested training as a basis for customized training program development or application of existing training programs.
• Institutionalises training needs analysis (TNA) methods to ensure training options are identified and considered against the perceived needs.
• Liaises with all levels of organization management regarding individual, unit, or organizational problems and assists in identifying training-related solutions when appropriate, identifying specific outcomes of training particularly in the areas of supervision and management.
• Supervises training course bookings and approvals for specific Affairs and Departments within Ashghal in accordance with T&D policy.
• Meets regularly with the head of section/ department to determine direction and priorities as they relate to current and future training.
• Assures that all training planned for own area of responsibility takes place within the appropriate timeframes, analyses and interprets data, policies, reports, and training programs and will make decisions and recommendations on where training should be targeted and possible solutions to training needs.
• Ensures Training Reports are accurately produced on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis detailing the amount and type of training conducted for the specific Affairs and Department.
• Accurately determines the most effective training strategies, methods, materials and settings to correspond with the type of training needed and / or the environment in which the training will be applied
• Collaborates with external bodies to ensure existing practices match current technological advances; shares cost effective resources and ideas and investigates further opportunities for improvement with Ashghal partners, educational establishments, web-based training resources, and awarding bodies.
• Ensures continual development, administration and maintenance of the Catalogue of Approved Training Courses database.
• Reviews training materials, including hand-outs, PowerPoint presentations.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by relevant authorities.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirement
• Masters, preferably in the field, with (11) eleven years of relevant experience.
• Bachelors, preferably in the field, with (13) thirteen years of relevant experience.
