JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacist in Saudi Arabia, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use to improve patient health outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and update medication histories.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage the ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
- Educate patients about over-the-counter medications, side effects, and storage instructions.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, interactions, and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Previous experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary:
SAR
4,000 to 5,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
