JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
An international EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our team on a major onshore oil and gas construction project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and progress measurement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.
- Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and progress updates for senior management and the client.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate schedule inputs and alignment.
- Manage a team of planners and provide guidance on best practices and project controls.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.- Minimum 12+ years’ experience, with at least 5 years in a planning leadership role on large-scale onshore oil and gas construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience working with international EPC contractors in the Middle East preferred.
- Candidates who are ADNOC Approved will be given priority.
