Associate Procurement Medcare Management Office

Your role

We are looking to hire a young and dynamic procurement associate to join our team in Medcare corporate office.

Your responsibilities

Procurement & purchase order management

• Creating and issuing purchase orders (POs) in Oracle and D365 within stipulated TAT.
• Preparing purchase orders in Oracle upon receipt of usage sheets or purchase requisitions.
• Reviewing PO history and resolving price mismatches via email confirmations.
• Ensuring timely closure of Oracle cases to avoid billing or insurance complications.
• Sharing supplier POs within specified timelines to prevent delays in invoicing and GRNs.
• Issuing D365 POs to vendors after approval.
• Coordinating with the billing department regarding PO status.
• Sharing daily consignment PO status reports.

Quotation & vendor management

• Requesting quotations from vendors for specific cases.
• Leading price negotiations and managing vendor relationships.
• Following up with vendors regarding pending invoices or documents.

Master data & system management

• Creating new items and vendors in the system when not available.
• Updating and maintaining master data management (MDM) records.
• Updating MRP in MDM based on finance confirmation.

Sales order & invoicing

• Creating and invoicing sales orders.
• Receiving and invoicing purchase orders.
• Assisting with sales order creation when required.

Cross-functional coordination

• Coordinating with finance, operations, stores, nursing, and insurance departments.

Reporting & analysis

• Performing market analysis and cost comparison studies.
• Preparing Excel reports once Oracle POs are approved.

Logistics & delivery

• Arranging and ensuring timely delivery of required items.

General procurement activities

• Sharing OMC (Order Management Confirmation) with end-users and managing end-to-end procurement processes.
• Handling item and price confirmations.
