JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented BIM Modeler – Interior Design to join our client's design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing 3D BIM models for interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and alignment with project standards.
The role requires a strong understanding of interior detailing, joinery, finishes, and design coordination, along with hands-on expertise in Revit and BIM processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage 3D BIM models for interior and fit-out projects using Autodesk Revit.
Produce detailed shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs directly from the model.
Coordinate interior models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Ensure models adhere to company BIM standards and project requirements.
Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and site teams to maintain accuracy and design intent.
Assist in clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
Support visual presentations and documentation when required.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling for interior design or fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC.
Strong understanding of joinery, finishes, and interior detailing.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (BIM 360 experience is an advantage).
Knowledge of BIM standards (LOD, ISO 19650) preferred.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Attention to detail, time management, and a proactive work approach.
