URGENT Requirement
To support the Commercial/Contract Department in all contractual and commercial activities related to Road and Infrastructure Projects, ensuring proper administration of Contract Agreements, Sub-Contract Agreements Variations, Claims, and Payment processes in line with company procedures and project requirements.


Key Dimensions (size, budgets, etc.)
Ensure contractual compliance and commercial control across assigned projects in line with the Business Unit objectives. Communicate regularly with the project and site teams to align contractual deliverables with budgetary and program targets.
Key Interfaces and Relationships
Country Manager, General Manager, Contract/Commercial Managers, Project Manager, Sr. QS, Assistant QS, Surveyors, Supervisors and Foremen.
Municipality and related Government Departments, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Main Contractors.

Decision Making Responsibilities
•Communicate with the project and commercial teams to ensure all contractual and commercial objectives are aligned with the Business Unit targets through regular coordination meetings and progress reviews.
•Support the Commercial/Contract Manager in managing contract and subcontract administration, including preparation of contractual correspondences, variation submissions, and final accounts.
•Provide contractual and commercial support to safeguard company interests, identify potential risks, and ensure timely notifications and compliance with contract requirements.
•Operate fully within the requirements of the Company’s Policies, Procedures, and Delegation of Authority Matrix.
•Collaborate effectively with the site, planning, and procurement teams, providing guidance on contractual obligations and commercial implications.
•The role will involve decision-making authority within defined limits, primarily related to contract administration, documentation, and coordination. The Contract Engineer will be expected to provide daily updates on contractual progress and issues to the Commercial/Contract Manager.

Operational Responsibilities
• Administer contract and subcontract agreements in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure all contractual correspondences, notices, and records are issued and maintained in line with FIDIC and project-specific conditions.
• Coordinate with site and planning teams to align progress, scope changes, and contractual deliverables.
• Monitor compliance with contract terms, including scope, milestones, and deliverable requirements.
• Identify and highlight potential contractual risks or deviations to the Commercial/Contract Manager for timely action.
• Operate entirely within the requirements of the company policy and maintain compliance with internal commercial control procedures.
• Support in project close-out by ensuring proper documentation of approvals, handover certificates, and contractual records.

Commercial Responsibilities
• Prepare and track variation submissions, extension of time notifications, and related cost impacts in coordination with the Commercial/Contract Manager.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of interim and final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow, comparing against budgets and highlighting variances.
• Contribute to cost reports, forecasts, and commercial dashboards to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure commercial compliance in subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Ensure timely submission of payment applications, supporting documents, and variation claims.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure proper record keeping for variations, claims, and contractual correspondence for future reference or audits.

SHEQ Responsibilities

• Report all incidents and damage to management whether persons are injured or not.

Requirements:
- ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE & UTILITIES EXPERIENCE is a MUST
Essential Qualifications
- Professional qualification/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or Contract Administration
- Sufficient knowledge of Contract Administration techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Cost Control & Cost Management

Experience/Achievements
- 4 - 5 years of Contract Administration experience
- Dubai Experience is a MUST


Know-How
- Contract Management- FIDIC Books
- Good Communication Skills Written & Verbal
- MS Office, Projects, AutoCAD, Primavera
- Commercial & Market Awareness

Desirable
- Experience in Road/Infrastructure projects
- Higher qualification Contract Administration
- Knowledge of Contract Laws
