JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UAE National Commerce graduate to join our team as a Cost Controller. The role is ideal for a fresh graduate who is eager to build a career in financial analysis, cost management, and project control within a professional and supportive environment. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring project expenditures, preparing cost reports, and ensuring financial control and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in tracking and monitoring project costs and expenditures.
• Support in preparing cost reports, variance analyses, and budget comparisons.
• Maintain and update cost databases, ledgers, and related financial records.
• Assist in verifying invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Support the Finance / Project Control team in preparing monthly and quarterly cost summaries.
• Assist in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and project departments for data collection and cost validation.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance cost control and analytical skills.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.• Experience: Fresh graduate (0–1 year experience). Prior internship or training in accounting or project control is an advantage.
• Nationality: UAE National (Emirati).
Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and numerical ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
