JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety & Security Manager or Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance the safety, security, and maintenance operations within our investment management facilities in the UAE. This pivotal role ensures a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment to support our business goals and protect our assets and personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and security policies and protocols in line with UAE regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills to foster a culture of safety and responsiveness.
- Coordinate with external security agencies and vendors for surveillance, access control, and incident response.
- Oversee the management and supervision of maintenance staff and contractors.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, documenting and investigating issues to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to facility safety, security, and maintenance.
- Prepare and manage budgets related to the facility management department, optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility-related needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in safety, security, and maintenance management, preferably within investment management or corporate environments.
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety and security regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee maintenance and security teams.
- Proficient in risk assessment, emergency response planning, and incident investigation.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Certification in safety, security, or facility management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English
