JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
URGENT Requirement:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction activities at our Dubai projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and leading a team to successful project completion within deadlines and budget.
Responsibilities:
The general foreman typically oversees the day-to-day operations of a specific section or trade within the construction project. They are responsible for supervising a team of foremen and workers within their designated area, ensuring that tasks are completed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. General foremen often have expertise in a particular trade or aspect of construction, such as concrete work, carpentry, or electrical installation. They report to higher-level management such as chief foremen, providing updates on progress, issues, and resource needs within their area of responsibility. General foremen focus on coordinating activities, managing resources, and addressing challenges specific to their assigned section or trade, working closely with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of that portion of the project.
Requirements:
- ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE & UTILITIES EXPERIENCE is a MUST- Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry, Dubai experience is a MUST.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving mindset with effective decision-making abilities.
- Relevant certifications in construction supervision or safety management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to work onsite and travel between project locations within Dubai.
