Description

* Manage the interface between project teams and all external stakeholders in a structured and organized manner, including government departments, municipal authorities, agencies, consultants, contractors, developers, media, and community representatives.
* Oversee and coordinate consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Lead the preparation and delivery of periodic progress reports and presentations to maintain consistent stakeholder engagement.
* Proactively build strategic alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders whose objectives align with the organization's priorities.
* Represent the company's interests by providing end-to-end support and guidance on all matters related to project permitting and approvals, from design and construction through to handover.
* Drive stakeholder engagement strategies by developing collaborative and innovative approaches that create shared value for the organization and the wider community.
* Lead outreach and engagement initiatives to understand stakeholder concerns, align interests, and strengthen long-term relationships.
* Maintain a deep understanding of planning and permitting processes, coordinating with relevant authorities and government entities for approvals and justifications.
* Collaborate with project and design managers to develop permitting strategies, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to avoid project delays.

Requirements:
A successful Manager - Government Relations should have:

* Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage in both English and Arabic.
* Proven experience navigating approval processes for buildings, roads, and utility designs with relevant statutory authorities and stakeholders within the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a solid track record of successful project delivery.
* Ability to assess situations holistically within the broader business and stakeholder ecosystem.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance efficiency and achieve deliverables across teams and projects.
* Skilled in building and nurturing collaborative relationships, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
* Proven experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across geographically diverse projects.
