JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer specializing in Bridge Maintenance to join our infrastructure division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on RTA or ADM projects within the UAE and possess strong technical knowledge in the maintenance of bridges, including structural components such as expansion joints, bearings, and concrete elements.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Supervise and manage bridge maintenance activities ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
2) Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for technical and site-related issues.
3) Review project drawings, specifications, and maintenance schedules to ensure accurate execution of works.
4) Plan and monitor daily site operations to meet project timelines and productivity targets.
5) Conduct inspections, prepare technical reports, and recommend remedial measures for structural issues.
6) Ensure adherence to RTA/ADM standards, project guidelines, and QA/QC procedures.
7) Support the Project Manager in preparing progress reports, work schedules, and cost monitoring.
8) Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and assist in handover procedures.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).2) Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in bridge maintenance or similar infrastructure projects in the UAE.
3) Previous experience working on RTA or ADM projects is essential.
4) Strong technical knowledge in bridge maintenance, inspection, and repair techniques.
5) Excellent communication and coordination skills.
6) Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
7) Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
