Exciting Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager | NMT Group UAE
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead our commercial growth initiatives in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence, developing new client relationships, and strengthening existing partnerships across the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
• Identify and target new business opportunities across sea, air, and land freight segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, shipping lines, and agents.
• Collaborate with the pricing and operations teams to deliver competitive and customer-focused solutions.
• Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and long-term client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to shape commercial strategies.
• Drive performance in RFQs, tenders, and spot business opportunities.
• Represent NMT Group at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and performance insights for senior management.
• Contribute to the development of innovative logistics products and value-added services.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications• Minimum 7 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics in the UAE (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or key account management within the logistics sector.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.
• Solid understanding of sea freight, air freight, and multimodal transport solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid UAE driving license and access to a vehicle during business hours.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience in selling end-to-end logistics and transportation services.
• Multilingual (English, Arabic, Hindi) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the GCC logistics market.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
