JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Senior Commercial Manager leads the commercial and financial performance of luxury resort and hospitality development projects, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual integrity, and alignment with the company’s strategic and brand values. The role requires both strategic insight and practical expertise balancing commercial leadership with a deep understanding of high-end design, construction, and delivery standards expected within the luxury hospitality sector.
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy for landmark projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and safeguarding profitability across all phases of development. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the company’s growth and reputation for excellence, while benefiting from leadership development, executive training, and exposure to international commercial best practice.
Requirements:
• 7 to10 years of experience in commercial management or quantity surveying for large-scale, luxury resort, hospitality, or mixed-use developments within the UAE or GCC region.• Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios involving multiple contractors, consultants, and international design teams.
• Advanced expertise in budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and financial governance.
• Deep understanding of value engineering principles and lifecycle costing specific to hospitality and resort projects.
• Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven record of building collaborative, results-driven teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and maintain strong relationships across owners, operators, and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management, or a related discipline (chartered status preferred).
• Commercially strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision-making ability to balance creativity, cost, and commercial risk.
