JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsibilities
Client Management:
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their insurance needs, and provide expert advice on risk management and loss prevention strategies.
Negotiation & Placement:
• Negotiate with various insurance carriers to secure the most suitable coverage, rates, and policy terms for clients.
Risk Assessment & Analysis:
• Analyze client businesses to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions and risk management programs.
Claims Management:
• Oversee and guide the handling of insurance claims, ensuring timely and favorable resolutions for clients.
Market Intelligence:
• Stay informed about industry trends, new insurance products, regulations, and market changes to provide informed advice.
Business Development:
• Acquire new clients and accounts, driving revenue growth for the brokerage.
Team Leadership & Training:
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior brokers and other team members.
Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to all relevant insurance laws and regulations, and prepare reports for management on coverage status and risk exposures.
Qualifications & Skills
• Target annual gross revenue: $500,001 to $750,000.
• Must complete the CII Certificate qualification.
• Commission earning threshold $175,000-$210,000
• Commission rate after passing threshold 22.5%
• Guide salary range AED20,000-30,000
Requirements:
Education:• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management.
Experience:
• Significant experience (7-10+ years) in the insurance industry, with proven experience in managing clients, policies, and risk.
• Must work towards CII Level 4
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
