Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Stakeholder & Authorities Coordinator to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, UAE.
This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, ensuring that the department continues its rapid growth by ensuring the correct projects are targeted and secured.
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Providing technical support to secure approvals, agreements and all undertakings with governmental departments, stakeholders and third parties
- Monitoring and implementation of requirements to obtain necessary NOCs and approvals
- Liaising with department managers for permit strategy required for new projects and proposals
- Preparing meeting materials including reports, presentations and meeting agendas
- Ensuring proper interpretation of municipality codes and regulations as well as effective delivery and follow through on submissions
- Coordinating with various consultant disciplines for development of construction documents and applications for building and sign permits
- Reviewing municipal zoning, land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the property
- Reviewing ordinances, utilities service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines
- Leading the authorities' weekly meetings to ensure that the client has a clear understanding of project progress and timelines
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8+ years of career experience with a Bachelor degree and at least 5 years with a recognized engineering consultancy in a stakeholder/coordination capacity. Proven experience of working with main government bodies in Dubai is required.
