JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Blackowl Group is a leading investment firm based in Sydney Australia and Dubai UAE. We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven Strategic Investment Manager with deep existing relationships across the MENA region. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a results-oriented professional who operates with an entrepreneurial mindset—not as a traditional employee—and is committed to growing the firm’s brand and bottom line throughout the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and capital raising across the MENA region, leveraging strong pre-existing networks with banks, financial institutions, family offices, and HNWIs.
- Strategically source, analyze, and commercially close large-scale investment and financing deals upwards of $10MUSD+
- Act as a key representative of the firm, building brand presence and investor confidence throughout the region.
- Travel regularly within the Middle East to cultivate relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Work autonomously with full accountability to deliver measurable growth and portfolio diversification.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience of capital raising for private equity and wealth management- Extensive and active network of high-level contacts in the MENA investment and financial sectors.
- Proven ability to close large scale deals analytically and commercially
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and drive to expand the firm’s reach without traditional employee constraints.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region fundraising, pitching and closing (UHNI, Family offices, Wealth Managers, Institutions) building long lasting relationships.
- Deep understanding of the investment landscape, regulatory environments, and cultural dynamics across MENA.
Compensation:
OTE is significant given your commitment to the bottom line. You will be given access to a suite of high-level projects and elite network to leverage and close deals. A base renumeration is negotiable based on experience, coupled with significant performance-linked incentives including lucrative equity participation and joint ventures across high level projects. This is not for the faint hearted - fortune favours the bold.
This is a unique role for a well-connected finance professional with a big vision, taking full ownership of growing out the business and building their own team, leveraging the firm's incredible network of clients and projects. Long term growth into a Senior leadership role such as Partner of UAE for the right candidate, based on performance. We are happy to consider candidates based within Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

We specialise in projects for capital funding and acquisition across Mining, Gas, Agri-Tech, AI, Commodities to name a few within the Middle East, with our Head Office in Sydney, Australia. We raise capital for projects series A-C that typically see rounds of $10MUSD-$50MUSD+. Our network within government, family offices, and institutions solidifies our access to incredible projects and resources.
