About Us:
A well-established Summer Camp across the US is looking to hire a Basketball Coach. Our sports camp is dedicated to providing top-tier sports education to students of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking passionate Full-Time Basketball Coach Instructors to join our team. We’re looking for motivated & experienced coaches to join our camp network in the New York and Philadelphia area.
Who We Are Looking For:
Looking for experienced individuals for teaching and instruction of youth basketball classes and camps. The candidate must possess high energy and a positive approach, with a genuine desire to impact the lives of young children through sports. The ideal candidate would be an athlete with considerable skill and a passion for coaching.
• Applications are open to international candidates.
• Rotating Shifts - 6 days a week.
• Work starts in June 2026
• Application deadline is December 31, 2025
This is a salary, plus the offer includes an employment visa and medical insurance for eligible candidates.
Accommodation+ meals+ training are FREE.
Requirements:
Experience Requirements:• A Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children; examples include but are not limited to: academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, and youth volunteer.
• Basketball/youth sports coaching experience of at least 1 year required.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• The Basketball coach is responsible for supervising children, providing basketball-specific coaching and instruction, creating a safe and fun learning environment, and serving as a positive role model for students.
• Provide daily basketball instruction/coaching to students between the ages of 4 and 15 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate basketball skills and tactics, explaining the principles behind them, observe and assess students' performance, and give them feedback on their progress.
• Group supervision of students with attention to: behaviour and group management, health and safety, security, and personal and skill development.
• Ensure the safety of students and team members in and out of the basketball court
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use practical classroom management skills to lead the activity and effectively create a fun environment where everyone feels included.
• Work effectively with fellow Activity Specialists and collaborate on daily responsibilities. Serve as a positive role model to students.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Be willing to travel.
• Ability to respond to emergencies that may require running and climbing stairs.
• Good physical condition, which enables the candidate to execute all responsibilities associated with this position.
