JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our on-site team for an oil & gas construction project in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards in line with international and local regulations. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong safety-first mindset and a proven track record in the oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
–Ensure strict compliance with all HSE policies and procedures at the construction site.
–Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
–Monitor daily site operations to identify and mitigate safety risks.
–Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, and develop preventive measures.
–Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions for site staff and subcontractors.
–Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to maintain a strong safety culture.
–Prepare accurate HSE documentation, reports, and audit records.
–Oversee emergency response readiness and support site drills and procedures.
Requirements:
–Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).–Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management within oil & gas construction projects.
–Knowledge of Russian or Uzbek is a strong advantage.
–In-depth understanding of international (e.g., ISO?45001, OSHA) and local HSE standards.
–Proven skills in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting.
–Excellent communication and training facilitation abilities.
–Strong leadership skills, able to enforce compliance and motivate site teams.
