As the Security & Emergency Response Manager, you will be embedded within a major international EPC oil & gas project in Uzbekistan. Your responsibilities will include:

–Leading on-site safety and security management, ensuring all activities comply with international safety protocols and local regulations.
–Developing, implementing, and continuously updating comprehensive Emergency Response Plans (ERPs), including fire, medical, evacuation, environmental incidents, and security threats.
–Performing thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses, identifying vulnerabilities across operations, and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
–Coordinating closely with local government authorities, regulatory bodies, and project owners/clients, ensuring alignment on security measures, compliance reporting, and incident response coordination.
–Conducting regular safety and emergency drills, training plans, and awareness initiatives for both international and local workforce, fostering a safety-first culture.
–Overseeing compliance with international safety standards such as OSHA, ISO?45001, and other relevant best practices, and guiding local contractors to adhere rigorously.
–Serving as the primary point of contact for all security incidents and emergencies, managing incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and reporting.
–Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams—including engineering, construction, logistics, and HR—to integrate safety considerations across all phases of the project lifecycle.
–Ensuring security protocols for site access, surveillance, and emergency communication are robust, practical, and adapted to the unique context of an international EPC environment.

Requirements:
–Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) is required.
–Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within international engineering, procurement, or construction projects—preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry.
–Proficiency in Risk Assessment, Emergency Response Planning, and implementation of international safety standards such as OSHA and ISO?45001.
–Experience interacting with local authorities and international stakeholders in a cross-cultural, multilingual environment.
–Russian or Uzbek proficiency is a strong advantage.
–Strong leadership, communication, and training skills; able to coordinate drills and engage diverse teams.
