Financial Accountant

A leading pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a financial accountant for their office in Riyadh.

The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with KSA regulations, and delivering timely financial reports for internal use and external statutory requirements.
• Responsible for the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow, tax preparation, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Contributes to internal controls and financial compliance, regularly preparing reports for senior management and providing overall support to the finance business partner.
• Recording and reviewing journal entries to ensure accurate ledger balances.
• Managing the financial close process, preparing financial statements, and reconciling transactions.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a financial accountant or in a similar finance/accounting role.
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting, legal, and taxation frameworks, particularly in KSA.
• Knowledge in international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Pharmaceutical industry background is highly preferred.
