JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Senior ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Electrical Engineer oversees and manages the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within an ICT environment.
As a Senior ICT Engineer, you will provide professional technical ICT Engineer expertise covering operational ICT support, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and/or applications and services.
Support Project Managers with the management of client relations and expectations, as needed
Support Project Managers in client presentations and workshops, as needed
Support Project Managers with responding to client clarifications and technical issues related to electrical design, as needed
Ensure client satisfaction with electrical design deliverables.
Support the collection of internally available data to support project execution
Lead discussions with clients to determine criteria guiding design, including budgets, preferences, etc.
Ensure the effective implementation of solutions, projects and programmes. - Technical authorship and ownership of solution designs to meet client requirements aligned with the strategic direction of ICT Service
Implement ICT technical solutions.
Closely work with Project Managers for the review and validation of design deliverables with clients and authorities, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals, as needed
Assist Project Managers with implementing quality control policies and procedures on design deliverables and conduct peer review on team members’ deliverables
Support during the supervision stage, as needed, including responding to RFIs and solving electrical design conflicts, in coordination with local design support teams
Implement corporate policies and procedures
Requirements:
15 years of relevant experience in Engineering field.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry in a top tier regional / multinational engineering consultancy firm, specifically in ICT
Experience and track record in managing teams on ICT activities.
Significant industry experience within the Middle East
In depth knowledge of electrical engineering
Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
Knowledge of electrical engineering-related rules and regulations in the Middle East
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
