JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Lead and oversee the organization’s cybersecurity operations strategy, ensuring protection of digital assets, systems, and data.
• Manage and mentor cybersecurity operations teams, including SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
• Establish and maintain robust security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Define and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity posture through proactive threat hunting and advanced analytics.
• Oversee incident management lifecycle — from detection and containment to remediation and post-incident review.
• Collaborate with IT, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure security controls are effectively integrated across systems.
• Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to measure security performance and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
• Lead internal and external security audits and coordinate remediation activities.
• Report on cybersecurity risks, incidents, and initiatives to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage cybersecurity operations budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
• Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the organization.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.•10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
•Proven experience in managing SOC operations, incident response, and threat management functions.
•Strong understanding of cloud security, network defense, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
•Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC highly preferred.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
