Purpose of role / summary:
The BDM Team Leader will be responsible for leading and managing a sales team within our company. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by developing sales strategies, enhancing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets, exceptional leadership skills, and a results-driven approach to sales.
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Serve as a BDM Team Leader leveraging expertise to cultivate and work with personal sales portfolios
- Lead and mentor a team of BDMs, providing them with the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the team to achieve sales targets, forecast expected sales and profits for existing and new products
- Provide hands-on guidance and practical advice to the team to enhance their performance and drive results
- Recruit, train, and develop the relationship management team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and values
- Collaborate closely with other departments to devise effective strategies, offerings, procedures, and promotions
- Innovate and explore new business development strategies, translating them into profitable ventures
- Facilitate communication and alignment between sales and other departments, ensuring a consistent closed loop for lead and opportunity management
- Monitor and analyze lead and pipeline data to validate quality and provide insights for continuous improvement
- Any other duties that are requested and relevant to the role
Required skills & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the FX and CFDs industry with a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a sales/BD team
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of financial products, trading platforms, and market dynamics
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools
- Fluent in English and Arabic (both spoken and written)
