JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Model Management & Integrity: Manage and maintain the federated BIM model, ensuring all architectural and structural models are up-to-date, adhere to the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and meet required Level of Detail (LOD).
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Execute rigorous clash detection using tools like Navisworks Manage across all disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP, ID) and proactively facilitate coordination meetings to resolve conflicts before construction.
• Model-Based Measurement (5D): Generate accurate Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) and model-based measurements from the coordinated models to support the commercial and project control teams.
• Coordination & Communication: Act as the central BIM link, coordinating information flow between the Design team, Technical Office, Site Management, and Subcontractors.
• BIM Standards & Compliance: Ensure all incoming and outgoing models and data comply with project standards, specifications, and local authority submission requirements.
• Deliverables Support: Assist in preparing 4D sequencing, construction logistics models, and support the creation of As-Built models for handover.
Requirements:
Education: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.ExperienceMinimum 8+ years' experience working with a Main Contracting Company in the UAE/GCC.Project HistoryProven experience working on high-rise or mid-rise building projects (40+ floors preferred) in the region.BIM Software Strong proficiency in Revit (Architectural and Structural modeling), capable of managing detailed architectural and structural models.BIM Coordination Expertise in using clash detection and model viewing software (e.g., Autodesk Navisworks Manage).Commercial AcumenSolid understanding of Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) and model-based measurement (5D) principles. Location must be based in the UAE and available to join on short notice.
Salary:
AED
22,000 to 28,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
