JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Compliance Officer to join our mall management team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations adhere to all legal regulations and internal policies, promoting a culture of integrity and accountability within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures tailored to mall management operations.
- Monitor ongoing activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance issues and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance and training on compliance-related matters.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the retail and property management sectors.
- Manage investigations into compliance breaches and lead efforts to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role, preferably in mall or property management.
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations relevant to retail and real estate sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external regulatory authorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding compliance and integrity.
