JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse are currently managing a search for an international investment practice whose regional Dubai office are in the process of looking to recruit a Group Corporate Accountant.
This Group Accountant shall be focused towards the oversight of financial accounting across a portfolio of investments and property assets, along with responsibility for managing treasury-related activities, whilst also developing management reports and budgetary planning within the business. In conjunction, this position will also take ownership of statutory reporting with oversight of all Tax (VAT & Corporate) related matters, spanning numerous jurisdictions, whilst also overseeing IFRS-compliant accounting finalisation and liaison for all consolidation and audit purposes.
Requirements:
The client will look to recruit a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with exposure to a Big Four audit-type background, with a demonstrable track record of up to five years post-qualified experience, within a financial control and/or reporting-based environment. The client will look to pinpoint candidates whom are able to present an understanding of investment-related accounting, with a specific focus towards property management or family office, being a distinct advantage. This role and organisation will require a hands-on and strategic Corporate Accountant, whom is able to deliver within business support and analytical functions, including areas of financial modelling, cost control and consolidation of accounts. The client will look for strong communication and presentation skills, along with an understanding of the UAE market and a knowledge base, across a broad range of financial instruments and asset classes.ABOUT THE COMPANY
