JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, ensuring high standards of service, and supporting the smooth operation of laundry services within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundry items for stains and damages and apply appropriate treatment methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area and equipment.
- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages to management.
- Assist in folding, packaging, and delivering cleaned laundry items to designated locations.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.- Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment safely.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy laundry loads.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions meticulously.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Salary:
AED
1000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
