JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Technical Skills
• 60% Electrical / 40% Mechanical expertise
Proficient in:
• Troubleshooting (electrical & mechanical)
• SCADA systems, sensors, and automation technologies
• Panel wiring, switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers
• Bearings, gears, belts, chains, pumps, couplings, and conveyors
• Use of mechanical measuring tools
• Root cause analysis and basic mathematics
Familiar with:
• ISO, GMP, HACCP, QMS, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen methodologies
• Strong awareness of occupational safety standards
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery
• Troubleshoot breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Support installation, calibration, and compliance with safety protocols
• Coordinate with Engineers and Production Supervisors for smooth operations
• Promote continuous improvement and cost-effective maintenance practices
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and OSHA safety regulations
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• ITI or Vocational Certification in Electrical/Automation
Experience Requirements
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in FMCG or food manufacturing industries
• Hands-on expertise with Linear Meshpack (Doypack) packaging machines.
Salary:
AED
3,000 to 3,200
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
