We're hiring: System engineer!
We are seeking an experienced system engineer to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in system administration, network management, and infrastructure optimization to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work mode: Work from office
Role: System engineer
Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years
Duration: 5 months (contract)
Core responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments
- Manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems
- Participate in migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement projects
Core skills
- Azure IaaS/PaaS, Office 365 administration
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall rules
- PowerShell scripting and automation
Added advantage - network expertise
- Experience with network design and troubleshooting
- Experience with vulnerability management
- Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Fortinet/Cisco), and switching
- Exposure to Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute)
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, AZ-700) are a plus
