JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
I have a vacancy for a Videographer at a Charity Foundation. The Charity Foundation was established in 2022 by a large Legacy Family group that has an 85-year history in the United Arab Emirates. The Foundation focuses on Healthcare and education, providing a unique, secure, and dynamic environment that fosters growth and development.
This is a unique opportunity to join this dynamic Foundation. This role was created to accommodate the rapid growth of the Foundation.
This role will be based in Muhaisnah 1, Dubai.
Requirements:
Pre-Production & Planning• Collaborate with the Creative team leader and Marketing teams to understand project briefs, key messages, and target audiences.
• Propose storyboards, shot lists, and visual approaches that align with campaign and event objectives.
• Prepare all required equipment (cameras, lighting, audio) and ensure readiness ahead of shoots.
Production (Filming)
• Capture high-quality video footage for executive addresses, institutional events, ceremonies, interviews, and promotional content.
• Set up and operate professional video, lighting, and sound equipment in diverse environments (boardroom, event hall, hospital, university, etc.).
• Ensure discreet, non-disruptive filming for sensitive executive communications and VIP events.
• Provide basic photography coverage as needed.
Post-Production (Editing)
• Edit footage into compelling video outputs, including executive highlight films, event recaps, promotional videos, training materials, and internal communications.
• Apply branding elements (logos, lower thirds, animations, music, subtitles, intro/outro slates) consistently across all outputs.
• Create motion graphics and simple animations where needed.
• Manage colour grading, audio mixing, and final mastering for different formats (broadcast, social media, internal screens, large-scale projection).
Workflow & Collaboration
• Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure cohesive creativity across print and digital assets.
• Collaborate with protocol and event teams to meet live coverage requirements and ensure same-day highlight turnarounds.
• Archive, organise, and maintain a video library for easy retrieval and reuse.
• Manage outsourcing (including drone operators and animation studios) as needed, ensuring alignment with the group standards.
