China CAMC Engineering Co. Ltd (CAMCE, stock code 002051) is affiliated to SINOMACH, an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly under the management of the central government. The project includes the construction of a central crude oil processing facility with a capacity of 100,000 barrels per day (BPD), and a natural gas processing facility with a capacity of 130 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). The oil package of the project was put into operation 3 days ahead of schedule on April 27, 2024, and the gas package was put into operation 15 days ahead of schedule on December 15, setting a record for the shortest construction period of similar projects in Iraq. At the same time, it accomplished the "Four Zeros" Goal of Zero injuries, Zero pollution, Zero incidents, Zero safety accountability incidents and received high praise from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and project stakeholders.
